I live in  Warwickshire, UK and covering North Cotswolds.

I am Mainly self taught but influenced by later work of Degas and Cassatt and with expert tuition from a range of specialists. My subjects of choice are portraits of pets and wildlife painted in pastels

I am passionate about painting pastel portraits of people and pets, and wildlife. As a child I drew dogs, horses and people and then did little more til late 1990’s as a business and academic career took over.  Restarted art more fully in 2003 to compensate for losing sight in my right eye. Now, as my ‘retirement career’ since 2017, I love painting dogs, horses, people, and wildlife.

Having recently added wildlife to my portfolio I would like to continue my theme of endangered species to form a collection.

I have exhibited regularly since 2004 and would now like to work towards a solo or small group exhibition.

I continue to receive commissions for dogs, horses and people which I enjoy, particularly being able to bring pleasure to others through my art.

See my website www.gillycoxportraits.co.uk for details and contact link of workshops and for commissions
